This month’s topic: Social Media & Communications

All registered adults are welcome to attend roundtable as well as interested parents!

Join us for an interactive discussion on the fundamentals of successful social media and communications. We'll explore how units can effectively use social media for external communications, community engagement, recruiting, and public relations while sharing the Scouting story with families and the broader community. We'll also review best practices for internal communications, including keeping leaders, volunteers, and families informed through clear, consistent, and effective communication channels.

In addition, we'll cover online safety protocols, youth protection considerations, and the challenges and risks children may face on digital platforms, helping leaders promote a safe and positive online environment. Learn practical tools, communication strategies, and safety best practices to help your unit stay connected, visible, and protected.

We're excited to launch our new Roundtable Help Desk! If you're experiencing challenges with your unit or any other Scouting-related topic, please arrive 30 minutes before the meeting to meet with our team. We'll be available to answer questions, provide guidance, troubleshoot issues, and connect you with resources to help your unit succeed.
