NOVEMBER Scouting for Food Drive 

1.  Go door-to-door using Council provided door hangers (November 7th) then return (November 14th) to pick up the bags full of donations. Bring donations to the Springfield Scout Service Center for the Scouting for Food Collection Event between 10 am - 2 pm on Saturday, November 14th. 

• Door hangers will be available to your unit to canvas your selected neighborhoods. 
  • You can pick them up at the Scout Office. 
• Please let your District Executive know which area(s) your unit would like to select.  We want to ensure maximum coverage and no overlapping.  
• Record and report your volunteer time on Scoutbook Plus.

2.  Drop off your donations

• Ozark Trails Council (1616 S. Eastgate Ave.) Food collection bins will be available for drop-off during regular business hours the week of November 7th - November 14th.
  • Main Collection is Saturday, November 14th from 10 am - 2 pm at the Council Service Center.
• Ozarks Food Harvest (2810 N. Cedarbrook Ave.) Donation drop off is at west end of building, directly off Packer Road. Donations are accepted Monday – Thursday 8 am to 4 pm or Friday from 8 am to 12 pm.
• Use our AGENCY FINDER or request a list of closest food pantries near you
  • If you are outside of the Springfield area, please select the food pantry closest to your unit.
