The Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification 9AM to 2PMThe Level 1 Archery Instructor Certification Course provides the necessary tools to maintain a high level of safety both on and off the archery range. Level 1 Instructors are prepared to teach beginner archery programs to people of all ages and abilities. The Level 1 Instructor will learn about range safety, range setup, the steps of shooting, and basic equipment and repair. Minimum Age is 15 and certification is good for 3 years Course Content:  How to set up a range, general range safety, whistle commands, steps of shooting and basic equipment repair  Please bring: notebook & & amp, pen/pencil.  You will also need to bring your own lunch, drinks, snacks and dress for the weather as we are outside the entire course. The Level 2 Archery Instructor Certification - 9AM t0 6PM. A Level 2 Instructor works with a more established archery program such as J.O.A.D., A.S.A.P., college clubs and local clubs with a strong beginner component. Level 2 Instructors are also certified to teach Level 1 courses. Current Level 2 Instructors with a successful background screen are eligible for insurance benefits. Minimum age 18. Certification is good for 3 years. Course Content:  Basic shooting steps, introduce intermediate shooting steps, safety, range set-up; equipment setup and repair, fitting equipment to an archer, how to teach archery and how to teach a Level 1 Instructor Course  Please bring: Your bow (compound or recurve), stretch band, notebook & amp; pen/pencil, You will also need to bring your own lunch, drinks and dress for the weather as we are outside the entire course.
