The purpose of the Range & Target Activities Committee Meeting is to support safe, age-appropriate shooting sports programs by reviewing policies, procedures, and program needs related to firearms, archery, and hand-held target activities.

The committee works to ensure all range and target activities are conducted in accordance with Scouting America standards, emphasizing safety, proper supervision, training, and positive youth development. The meeting also provides an opportunity to plan upcoming activities, review equipment and staffing needs, and strengthen program delivery across camp and district operations.
