Bayou State Trail Association will be having a Trail Maintenance Day on November 14th in Heflin, Louisiana. The Louisiana Trails section of the Bayou State Trail is in poor condition from ATV use. There are large sections that have deep ruts and holes that hold water. They will be cutting a footpath along the side of the trail to bypass these areas. This will involve cutting back brush, but not extensive cutting that would require chain saws. They will also be blazing the trail along the way! Please use the registration link below. They hope to see you there!

It's a great way to work on/earn the Paul Bunyan Award also.
