Event Details

Join us at our 2027 Whitney M. Young, Jr. Service Award Recognition Dinner!

The Whitney M. Young, Jr. Service Award was designed by National Scouting America to recognize individuals and corporations who have been instrumental in the development of Scouting for rural, urban, and suburban youth who often face challenging barriers. This award recognizes "unsung heroes," those who do exceptional service for disadvantaged youth.

Details:  Scouting America is the Nation’s leading outdoor education and character development program. The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

The impact of these values can be seen in the many young people who have come through Scouting and have gone on to become productive members of their communities. The Scouting program continues to help address many of the challenges facing our youth today and is leaving a proud legacy of outstanding citizens.

Please consider associating your company with the Scouting America, one of the Nation’s most trusted non-profit organization for more than 100 years. Let our track record of success reflect positively on your organization. Place your corporate logo on the Whitney M. Young, Jr. Dinner Materials and be seen by a highly targeted demographic. The Whitney M. Young Jr. Dinner enables Scouting America to continue the much needed youth programs right here in Louisiana.

Be our guest and attend this spectacular event. There is no cost to attend, thanks to our generous sponsors. Guests who wish to make a donation in support of the mission will have an opportunity to do so during the event.
