Pinewood Derby

Date: Saturday, March 15th

Location: Yorktown Middle School, 8820 W Smith St, Yorktown, IN 47396

Event Highlights: Bring your best car and join us for an exciting day of Pinewood Derby fun! This event is open to all Scouts, not just top pack placements. Families and the community are welcome to participate or cheer on the racers!

Schedule:

Registration: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM

Opening Ceremonies: 9:15 AM

Racing Starts: 9:30 AM

Wraps up around Noon

Race Categories:

Scout Races: Free entry for all Scouts following standard rules.

Youth Open: $5 entry fee. Any youth can participate, following standard rules.

Adult Open: $5 entry fee. Adults can enter and follow standard rules.

Outlaw Race: $5 entry fee. Anything goes! Build the most creative or fastest car—just ensure it fits on the track.

Food & Refreshments: Concessions will be available throughout the event, hosted by Yorktown Pack 303. Enjoy breakfast, coffee, snacks, and lunch options.
