This meeting's topic explores the importance of training, and the courses & resources available to Scouting volunteers. The difference between a struggling Pack or Troop and a successful one often comes down to training. Scouting America provides training courses for all volunteer positions, as well as a number of heath and safety courses.

Kelly Orr will provide a presentation about the importance of training and an overview of the path to become a well-trained Scouting unit. We will also hear from several Pack and Troop leaders that will share their successes with getting their leaders and older Scout youth trained.
