Council Advancement Committee In-Person Meeting
Event Details
"Every Scouting activity moves young people toward the basic aims of character development, citizenship training, leadership, and mental and physical fitness. Advancement is one of the eight methods used by Scout leaders to help youth fulfill the aims of the BSA." -The Guide to Advancement. Council Advancement Committee Meetings are held once a month. Participants include the District Advancement Chairs, and topics center around participant advancements (Rank, Adventures, Merit Badges, etc.), the recording of those advancements, and education of advancement policy throughout the Council.
