Ad Altare Dei & Pope Pius XII Religious Emblems Board of Review

Location:  Playdium (Gymnasium and Pool) at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1776 Glenview Road, Glenview, IL.  The Playdium is located on the corner of Church Street and Glenview Road, at the opposite end of the OLPH campus from the church.  Look for signage to direct you to the rooms being used for the boards.

Start Time:  7:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.  It ends after the last Board of Review but no later than 9:00 PM.

Attire & Materials:  Every scout should appear in their Class A uniform with their completed book and all additional pages.  In addition, scouts must complete the survey on the book's last page.  The application page for the emblem should be signed as required on both sides of the form by the scout (two locations), the scout’s parent, the emblem counselor (2 locations), the unit leader, and the scout’s pastor or pastor’s designee, with only the BOR panel signatures remaining to be signed.

Fees:

• Medal sets are $24.00 with checks made payable to the Archdiocese of Chicago, please write "Boy Scout Medal" on the memo line. 
• Neckerchiefs are $20 each, with the checks made payable to Chicago Catholic Scouting. 
• Also, older design neckerchiefs are still available for $10 each, with the checks made payable to: OLPH Boy Scout Troop 57.  All fees are to be paid before or at the Board of Review.

The Chicago Catholic Committee hopes to have an online payment option to allow paying by credit card for medal sets and neckerchiefs, using the committee’s Zeffy online account.  After you sign up for a board of review and provide your email address, the committee hopes to email a link for those wishing to use credit card payment a few weeks before the board of review date.

Presentation:  Medals are presented (typically by an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Chicago) at the Cathedral Ceremony held at Holy Name Cathedral in downtown Chicago.  The ceremony will be in person on Sunday afternoon, February 1, 2026.
