Catholic Scouting Religious Emblems Presentation

Holy Name Cathedral, 735 N. State Street, Chicago, Illinois  60654

A bishop from the Archdiocese of Chicago, together with the Chicago Catholic Committee, will award Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius XII religious emblems, Pillar of Faith awards, St. George religious emblems, and the Pope Paul VI National Catholic Unit Excellence awards, and recognize Catholic religious emblem counselors and facilitators.

  • Award recipients need to arrive by 2:30 pm
  • Award ceremony starts at 3:00 pm

Free for all to attend.  This awards ceremony is for scouts and scouters from the Northeast Illinois Council and the Pathway to Adventure Council.

Volunteer scouts are needed as flag bearers for the procession to begin the ceremony and for the recessional at the end of the ceremony.  At least one volunteer is needed to bear the NEIC council flag.
