Rifle Merit Badge Class

Scouts are invited to join us for BSA Rifle Merit Badge classes at the Conservation Club of Kenosha County (Bristol Shooting Ranges), 21001 85th Street Bristol, WI 53104.
This event will focus primarily on the shooting portion of the rifle merit badge (five groups of five shots), but the entire class will be taught over the course of the class dates. NOTE: Multiple nights are required to complete the Rifle Merit Badge.
COST PER NIGHT: $5 to cover bolt action 22lr rifles, ammunition and targets.
CLASS SIZE: There is a maximum of 16 positions open for each date.
DATES: Rifle Merit Badge classes will be June 19, July 17, August 21, September 18, and October 16 (3rd Mondays of the month).
TIMES: Classes are from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
REQUIRED:
Firearm Safety Discipline is our first priority - Scouts will adhere to the NRA safety rules they have been taught.
Scouts must bring their Firearm Safety Training card to participate - If you do not have your FST card yet, training can be arranged for you to get it.
A signed BSA permission slip is required for a Scout to attend Rifle Merit Badge classes at CCKC (see Resources tab of each class date).
Please bring your shooting glasses and hearing protection, if you have them.
Scouts must bring their Firearm Safety Training card. If you do not have an FST card, the half hour training module can be arranged for you and to receive one.
We will shoot from a covered outdoor position on the Rifle Range, so dress for outdoor weather and mud. We will shoot rain, or shine.
