Lodge Leadership Development (LLD): Order of the Arrow
The Order of the Arrow (OA) Lodge Leadership Development (LLD) is the primary training program for local OA lodges, designed to equip youth and adult leaders with skills to plan, manage, and execute successful lodge programs. It features tailored sessions on leadership, unit elections, and goal setting to improve lodge performance.
Key Aspects of OA LLD:
To train lodge/chapter officers and advisers, ensuring effective, high-performing lodges.
Covers topics such as building relationships, member retention, budget management, and event planning.
Often held as a weekend retreat, the program offers "flagship" sessions for all attendees and breakout sessions for specific roles.
Lodges can use OA LLD Session Recommendations based on their performance data to choose relevant topics.
