Support Scouting while enjoying one of Maui's most unique outdoor competitions! Gather a team of four and head to Camp Maluhia for the 2026 Maui Sportsman's Challenge — an unforgettable day of friendly competition, exciting outdoor challenges, great food, and plenty of bragging rights.

This event is open to adults from Maui, Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi Island, Kauaʻi — and beyond! Businesses, chartered organizations, community partners, Scouting supporters, friends, coworkers, and anyone looking for a great challenge are invited to participate.

You do not have to be a Scout or Scouting volunteer to participate. Build your team, enjoy a great day at Camp Maluhia, and help support Scouting in our island communities.

Preferred competition days are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If your team has a preferred day, register early before that day fills!

Your team will rotate through ten skill-based challenge stations throughout Camp Maluhia.

Safety instruction, equipment guidance, and challenge rules will be provided before competition begins.

What Your Day Looks Like

Your day begins at Camp Maluhia with participant check-in, breakfast and coffee, followed by a safety briefing before teams head out to their first challenge.

Teams will rotate through the challenge course throughout the morning, testing accuracy, coordination, consistency, timing, and maybe a few skills you didn't know you had.

After the competition, everyone comes back together for lunch and awards to recognize the day's top individual and team performances.
