The Aloha Council GAPs Committee is excited to offer an upcoming Communication Merit Badge class designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind.

This class is being offered for Scouts who may feel nervous, hesitant, or unsure about the Communication Merit Badge, as well as for Scouts who learn or communicate differently. GAPs is committed to making this merit badge accessible to all Scouts, regardless of special needs, learning styles, or abilities.

Scouts with dyslexia, dysgraphia, anxiety about public speaking, or other special circumstances are warmly welcomed and encouraged to participate. Instruction will be supportive, flexible, and focused on helping each Scout succeed at their own pace while still meeting the requirements of the merit badge.

Our goal is to create a safe, understanding environment where Scouts can build confidence, develop communication skills, and experience success.
