Greater Tampa Bay Area Council - Welcome

Duty to God Weekend

Event Details

Duty to God Weekend

Every year, across America, around the birthday of the BSA, Scouts gather in churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples to celebrate our Duty to God. This year, most faiths will mark the occasion on the weekend of February 4-6. This is a great time to come together, reflect on the challenges and successes of the past year, and renew our commitment to live by the values of our individual faiths and the Scout Oath and Law. Many units arrange to participate in the services of their chartered organization and this is a great way to increase the visibility of your pack, troop, crew, or ship. If you normally attend services at a place other than your chartered organization, wear your uniform to services at your own faith, as well.
