Hello Colonial District MBCs. We are contacting you to let you know about a Merit Badge Training opportunity available through Colonial District. This ongoing MBC training is scheduled for the 2nd Saturday of every month, beginning  September 10th.  All trainings will be held at Aldersgate Church (1301 Collingwood Road in Alexandria) at 0900 and will last 60-90 minutes.  No preregistration is required—just show up if available.  Once you have either taken the course in person or reviewed the course online (found here:  http://www.scouting.org/filestore/training/advancement/merit_badge_counselor/the_essentials.pptx ), please notify us and we will update your MBC profile to reflect your fully trained status.   Thank you to those that have already completed the MBC training and notified us. This email is being sent to all registered Colonial District MBC's so you may be receiving this even if you have completed the MBC training.  Be assured that if you have already completed the training and notified us of doing so, it is recorded in your profile.
