2025 Loudoun District Webelos/AOL-O-Ree (SAVE THE DATE!)

Event Details

The Webelos/AOL-O-Ree is an overnight camping event designed to introduce Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts and their parents to the Scouts BSA program and individual Troops. The weekend is filled with fun and skills activities led by Loudoun District Troops (formerly Goose Creek District). It begins with an opening ceremony Saturday morning and ends Sunday morning after chapel services. Saturday Dinner for Webelos/AOLs and their Adults is a foil dinner they prepare themselves.  The Saturday evening campfire is a special highlight featuring a ceremony by our Order of the Arrow Chapter's team and skits put on by the Webelos/AOLs themselves.

The Registration Site will be open only for Webelos/AOLs and their Adults.  It will open in August.

Troops can camp free with us. In exchange, the troops conduct a training station on Saturday, October 11th.  Training stations available include: Totin' Chip, BB Guns, First Aid Training, Wilderness Survival, Fire Building, Flag Ceremonies, Dutch Oven Cooking, Team Building, Monkey Bridge, Knots and Lashings, and Cooking while Camping.  To volunteer for a station contact either Charles Thornton, scouterchalis@gmail.com, or Joe Kotch, joe.kotch11@gmail.com.
