We have a new District Executive as Lauren Wilcox is now part of the Professional Program staff at the Council. Many of you will know her as the Aquatics Director up at camp and as our Past District Executive. Luckily, she will still be part of our Council. I’d like to introduce our new DE, Catherine Rowe. Catherine will be a great addition to our District. She is honored to join and serve Pioneer Express as the new District Executive and looks forward to meeting everyone! Throughout her career, she has been driven by a passion for supporting youth and their families and creating opportunities that help individuals and communities thrive. She brings more than 15 years of experience in education and leadership, having served as a classroom teacher, vice principal, and director of advancement and curriculum. In addition to her work in education, she has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, as well as in sales, marketing, recruitment, and fundraising. These diverse experiences have equipped her to build strong partnerships, connect people around a shared purpose, and support meaningful growth. She is excited to collaborate with our dedicated staO, volunteers, and community partners as we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of the youth and families we serve. Please welcome Catherine as we look positively to the future of our District and the Scouting Program for our youth. We will be holding a meet and greet for Catherine for anyone in our District that can attend on August 6, 2026 at the Carmichael Elks Lodge, 5631 Cypress Ave, Carmichael, CA 95608.
