Come enjoy the Breton Village Train Exhibit at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum this holiday season...and earn your Railroading Badge, too! Taught by guest merit badge counselor, Mr. Donald Pratt III and his team of experts, participants will earn their badge while learning all about types of trains, the railroad industry, train safety, and more. Non-Scouts including siblings over 10 and parents are welcome to register as well!

Please note: To earn your Railroading Merit Badge at the end of this program, you MUST complete step 2a (plan a rail trip between 2 cities at least 500 miles apart) and 8a, 2 or 5 (build a model railroad car OR structure) prior to attending. You MUST bring with you to class: a one-page description of the rail trip you planned AND the model you constructed (your model can be simple and inexpensive!) All other requirements will be covered in class.
