Washington, DC District Scouts' Workshop: College Admissions - A Roadmap for Scouts
The Washington, DC District is excited to offer a free workshop on Wednesday, April 28 at 7:30 PM with Claster Educational Services for Scouts and their families that will offer insight into how your Scouting experience can inform your college search and make you a strong candidate for admission. We'll discuss what colleges are looking for, how to research colleges virtually and in-person, standardized tests and test-optional admissions, and the timeline of the admission process. We'll also look at opportunities to share your Scouting experiences in the Common Application and essays, as well as a brief overview of financial aid.

Becky Claster is an independent educational consultant who specializes in undergraduate admissions and gap year advising. She guides students and families step-by-step so they are well-prepared and confident as they navigate the college admissions process. She holds a certificate in college counseling from UCLA Extension and is a member of NACAC, IECA, PCACAC and the Gap Year Association.
