** A MESSAGE FROM YOUR CAMP DIRECTOR***

Greetings Scouts and Scouters from around the Far East.

It is with great anticipation and hope that I am writing you, from Thailand, to invite you to join us at the Far East Council’s High Adventure Camp in Chiang Mai Thailand, July 30 -August 6, 2022.

As with the rest of the world, we here in Asia have struggled along to “do our best” in providing Scouting opportunities, and yet it’s been 2 years since we have been able to meet in a corporate, larger Camp setting. As things globally appear to be winding down with COVID, and our camp appears to be able to happen, we are excited to once again welcome you all back to camp.

This year, like in 2019, we will be at the Thai Scout camp/Lanna Resource Center, where we will be able to offer a multitude of Merit Badges, rank advancements and unique opportunities found in few other locations (attending an elephant hospital center, rock climbing or biking through the jungles of Thailand, etc).  We are also planning an OA Brotherhood event, OA members are encouraged to bring their sashes. Eligible ordeal members please plan on attending.

CAMP THAILAND IS OPEN TO ANY SCOUT OR ADULT LEADER REGISTERED WITH THE FAR EAST COUNCIL, BSA!!

Activities will include Climbing, Bike trail ride through the jungle, visiting an Elephant hospital and more!!!

You may select Merit Badges during registration from the class list.  Disclaimer: All Merit Badge Classes are subject to change depending upon the availability of Adult Leaders and Volunteers to teach. Each unit must have at least 2 registered leaders, all additional adult leaders may volunteer.  Additionally, please do NOT register as a youth or adult staff member unless you have been notified by the camp director to do so.
