Join us for an exciting weekend of adventure, learning, and fun at the Guiding Compass District Cub Scout Day Camp! This year’s program features America 250 celebrations, dinaosuar fun, hands-on activities, shooting sports, aquatics, and more.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Saturday, May 30, 2026 – Day Camp Rotations

Location: Camp Courtney – Bay View Field

9:15 – 9:45 AM | Check-In & Swag Distribution

9:45 – 10:00 AM | Opening Ceremony

10:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Activity Rotations (with lunch break) Please bring a sack lunch ! 

5:00 PM | End of Day One

Sunday, May 31, 2026 – Aquatics & Closing

Location: Camp McTureous Pool

1:00 PM | Arrival

1:00 – 1:30 PM | Swim Test

1:30 – 3:00 PM | Rank-Based Swimming Requirements

3:00 – 3:30 PM | Free Swim

3:30 – 4:30 PM | Pizza Party

5:00 PM | Closing Ceremony

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

All Scouts must register under their NEXT RANK for the 2026–2027 school year.

Bring appropriate clothing for outdoor activities, water activities, and sun protection.

Sunday includes pool access and pizza party for adults and youth.

This is a district-run event, and all participants must be registered through this system.

Space may be limited—early registration is encouraged.

ADULT LEADERSHIP & SUPERVISION

All youth must be supervised in accordance with Safeguarding Youth Training guidelines.

Units are encouraged to provide adequate leadership for their Scouts.

Additional event staff will be present to support program delivery.
