Join us for an unforgettable week-long adventure in Mongolia 2024, where Scouting's rich heritage meets the unparalleled beauty of the steppes. This year marks a special celebration of over 110 years of Scouting, and what better place to honor this legacy than in Mongolia, a land of enduring traditions and breathtaking nature.

Merit Badges & Cultural Exchange:

Throughout the week, scouts will have the opportunity to earn a variety of Merit Badges, each designed to challenge your skills and expand your horizons. From environmental science to orienteering, our badge activities are tailored to give you a hands-on experience that is both educational and deeply connected to the majestic Mongolian environment.

Trekking the Great Steppes:

Step out of your tent each morning to be greeted by the rolling foothills and endless vistas that have been home to nomadic tribes for centuries. Our short, guided treks will take you through the heart of the steppes, offering a glimpse into the resilient and fascinating way of life that has thrived here for millennia.

Scouts Unite:

Scouts of all nations and cultural backgrounds will gather, share experiences, and make new friends. This is more than a camp; it's a global jamboree of young adventurers eager to learn from each other and from the extraordinary Mongolian wilderness.

Make It a Reality:

To participate in Adventure Mongolia, adult attendees must be actively registered in a paid position with their Scouting unit, excluding the Merit Badge Counselor role. Please ensure you are registered as a Committee Member or in another leadership capacity, complete the Adult Application, pass a Background Check, and finish your Youth Protection Training (YPT) and Hazardous Weather Training. After these steps, your registration can be verified, and your journey to Mongolia can begin.

Travel Light & Prepared:

Pack minimally, focusing on high adventure backpacking. Your gear should fit in a backpack, ready for the nomadic lifestyle that awaits.

Arrival Details:

Your gateway to Adventure Mongolia is through Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN). From there, a 1.5-hour journey will transport you to the heart of the camp, where your adventure will truly begin.

Shopping & Souvenirs:

The Far East Council Trading Post will be open for all your needs during the camp, offering souvenirs and essential items to remember your Mongolian adventure.

Order of the Arrow Members:

Don't forget to bring your sashes! As OA members, you'll find special events and camaraderie among fellow honor campers.

Open to All in Scouting:

Adventure Mongolia 2024 is open to any Scout, or adult leader registered with the Boy Scouts of America. Younger scouts under the age of 13 require Scoutmaster approval to attend.
