Program Note
All Scouting Youth Protection and Safeguarding Youth (SYT) Guidelines will be followed.
The overnight Cub Scout portion of the event is considered Family Camping. Cub Scout parents or legal guardians participating in the overnight program with their child or legal ward are not required to register as leaders.
All adults must review “How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide,” which can be found in the front of each Cub Scout Handbook. In addition, a parent or legal guardian must be accompanied by a registered leader any time they are with youth members other than their own child or legal ward.
For Scouts BSA, parents and other adults camping with the troop must be registered in an adult fee-required position. Scouts BSA participants will camp as a unit, separately from the Cub Scout Family Camping area.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2026 Okinawa Spook-O-Ree for a weekend of Scouting, camping, costumes, and Halloween fun!
