Camp Malaysia 2026 – Far East Council High Adventure Camp

Kayaking

Fishing
Climbing & Rappelling
All Merit Badge classes and activities are subject to change based on the availability of qualified adult leaders and volunteers.
Special Program Highlights
Cultural Day (Wednesday)
Wednesday will feature a Cultural Day excursion in the city of Kuala Lumpur. The day will begin at the Malaysian Scout Headquarters, where Scouts and leaders will depart for a guided cultural experience throughout the city.
Scouts and leaders must bring money for lunch during Cultural Day.
Lunch expenses will be reimbursed up to $12 USD per person upon presentation of a receipt.
All money for souvenirs and any additional or optional purchases is the responsibility of the Scout and/or unit.
No reimbursement will be provided without a receipt.
Order of the Arrow (OA) Evening & Fellowship
Wednesday, July 26, 2026 will include an Order of the Arrow (OA) evening and fellowship gathering.
All OA members are encouraged to attend
Please bring and wear your OA sash
Transportation Information
(Required if utilizing camp-provided transportation)
Arrival – Sunday, July 26, 2026
1400 (2:00 PM) – Pickup from Kuala Lumpur International Airport
1500 (3:00 PM) – Pickup from Malaysia Scout Headquarters (Kuala Lumpur City Center)
Participants using camp transportation must select one of the two options above. Transportation needs outside these times and locations are the responsibility of the Scout, family, or unit.
Departure – Saturday, August 1, 2026
0900 (9:00 AM) – Return transportation to Kuala Lumpur International Airport
Transportation outside this return time is the responsibility of the Scout, family, or unit.
Registration Requirements
Camp Malaysia is open to any Scout or adult leader registered with Scouting America.
Registration Name Requirement: When completing registration, please enter the name you wish to be referred to during camp.
For water-based activities and merit badges, unit leaders must provide a certified swim test roster for any Scouts participating in water activities. Swim tests must meet Scouting America standards and be completed prior to camp.
Please do not register as youth or adult staff unless you have been specifically notified by the Camp Director.
A completed Scouting America Annual Health and Medical Record (Parts A, B, and C) is required for all participants.
