Range and Target Activities Weekend

August 30 to September 2, 2024, Chièvres Airbase. Chièvres, Belgium

The Range and Target Activities committee (formerly known as Shooting Sports Committee), will host a series of certification classes for different Range and Target Activities to include Basics of Shotgun Shooting, Archey Instructor Level I & II certifications, and a NRA Range Safety Officer Course.  The course offerings start on Friday and end on Monday.

Each course is a separate entity except for Level II Archery. The morning of Sunday, 01 September, both Level I and Level II attendees will be together in one class.  Level II will continue in the afternoon for more advanced training.

To participate in Level I & Level II Archery Instructor practical sessions, each attendee will have to complete the Level 1 and Level 2 online trainings provided by USA Archery. (Additional course fee paid directy to USA Archery.)

Attendees can choose to attend one or more of the courses provided.  Youth (depending on the age requirements) may attend the certification trainings. Non-DOD ID card holders are welcome to attend but need to make arrangements to gain access to Chièvres Airbase.

A free camping site is available near the classroom for those attendees who plan on staying overnight.  Food / drink will not be provided.
