Range and Target Activities Weekend

01 to 03 May 2026, Chièvres Airbase Range Classroom

The Transatlantic Council will host a series of certification classes for different Range and Target Activities to include US Archery Instructor Level I & II certifications, NRA Range Safety Officer Course, and Cub Scout Range Master Course for both Archery and BB Gun. The course offerings start on Friday evening and end on Sunday.

Each course is a separate entity except for Level II Archery. On Sunday morning, 03 May, both Level I and Level II attendees will be together in one class. Level II will continue in the afternoon of Sunday, 03 May for more advanced training.

To participate in Level I & Level II Archery Instructor practical sessions, each attendee will have to complete the Level 1 (Level 1 Instructor Certification - USA Archery $40 fee) and Level 2 (Level 2 Instructor Certification - USA Archery $50 fee) online trainings provided by USA Archery. The additional course fee paid directly to USA Archery.  Youth (15+) may attend the Level 1 Archery Instructor Course.

Attendees can choose to attend one or more of the courses provided.

Lodging and Meals

There is no accommodation provided as part of the training, though there are nearby Scouting Pavilion for those attendees who plan on camping overnight.  Lunch will be provided during the Range Safety Officer and Level 2 Archery Instructor Courses. The program will not include breakfast or dinner on any days.
