National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC)

July 29th to August 3rd, 2024

The National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC) is the premier event of the Order of the Arrow.  It brings Arrowmen together to share, learn, and experience a conference unlike any other event in Scouting.  The Black Eagle Lodge will be assembling a contingent to travel and represent the Arrowmen of the Transatlantic Council.

Participants will return home with:

• A deeper understanding of the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Order of the Arrow Obligation, and what it means to “live” these words in one’s daily life.
• A renewed spirit, pride, and enthusiasm for Scouting and the Order of the Arrow.
• Ideas their lodge can use to better serve Scouting at the unit, district, and council levels.
• New programs, knowledge, and skills to improve lodge and chapter operations.
• Enhanced leadership skills and a better understanding of how to carry out the work of the lodge
• The latest information on outdoor and high-adventure programming, including how to successfully promote Scout camping. New friendships with fellow Arrowmen from throughout the nation.
• Memories to last a lifetime!

Each Black Eagle Lodge NOAC Participant is required to make a $100 deposit payment to attend the conference. There will also an additional payment of $575.00 and ground transport fees (cost TBA) due before May 1st.  The Black Eagle Lodge will pay the event fees for the LEC approved 12 members of the contingent. Contact BEL Lodge Advisor Michael Garst for the password if you are one of the Arrowmen that was selected to attend as a part fo the base contingent.  NOAC Participants will need to make and pay their own travel arrangements to arrive at the conference.

Other Ways to Attend NOAC 2024:

• Individuals - Participants who register outside of their lodge contingent. Council Scout executives must still approve these individuals’ attendance. These participants will register directly through the National OA Event Registration System (NOAERS) see that website for more details. This option is only available for adult participants at least 21 years old.
• Staff - Volunteers who execute the conference and coordinate their own travel. Staff opportunities are available for both youth and adults. Staff will register directly through the National OA Event Registration System (NOAERS).
• Virtual Delegates - Participants who do not travel to Colorado but still want to watch a live stream of NOAC programs and other exclusive content. These individuals will register directly through NOAERS. (as of 20 December 2023 fees have not been established for this particpant type)
