MAYFLOWER DISTRICT
ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND RECOGNITION DAY
GILWELL PARK, JUNE 6th 2026
The 2026 Mayflower District annual conference and volunteer recognition day will be held on Saturday June 6th, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. This is for all of our volunteers in all units within the District.
It will be at Gilwell Park (Bury Road, Chingford, London, E4 7QW), in the Colquhoun International Centre (CIC).
The day will include workshops and discussion sessions, the District’s annual meeting (including election of District leaders), and an opportunity to recognize the wonderful volunteers who have made Scouting such a great experience for our youth throughout Mayflower District over the last 12 months.
Please ensure that any nominations for volunteer recognitions are submitted by May 31st so that they can be presented on the day.
The draft program for the day is as follows:
10:00 Welcome / Opening
10:15 Scouts with special needs | Inclusive programs at Scouting America
10:45 Normandy 2027 planning
11:15 Break
11:30 Membership & recruitment
12:00 District annual meeting with District elections
12:30 Lunch, with Award presentations (unit & district volunteers)
14:00 Tour of Gilwell Park
REGISTRATION:
The cost for the day, including lunch, is $25. Register online by May 31 st.
