Come join the Cub Scout fun August 19-20 at the Mayflower District Cub Scout Day Camp!

WHEN: Saturday to Sunday, August 19 to 20, 2023

• Camp time is 10:00am – 5:30pm each day. Please arrive by 9:45am. (Schedule subject to change based on number of registrants and volunteers.)
• (Friday, August 18, 2023, 6:30-7:30pm: Health Form drop off & t-shirt and patch pick up.)

On your mark. Get set. Go!  Mayflower District's Day Camp is two days filled with fun activities where Cub Scouts have the opportunity to explore, learn, and complete rank requirements under the direction of a trained staff.

Day Camp provides an opportunity for Cubs to complete required and elective activities of the various BSA Cub Scout ranks.  It also helps fulfill the requirements for the Summertime Pack Award and for the Cub Scout Outdoor Activity Award. Camp staff will keep track of the advancement and elective activities completed.  The information will be returned to the pack and the parents at the end of camp to be transferred to the Cub’s handbooks and Scout Book profiles.  No awards will be issued at camp. Program events will include Shooting Sports, Scout Skills, First Aid, Leather Work, Games & Fitness, Arts & Crafts, Songs, Skits, and FUN!  Each Scout receives a camp t-shirt and a patch in their registration. 

Day camp is available to ALL boys and girls of Cub Scout age who are registered with the BSA.

Register your Cub by their age/rank according to their grade level in the fall of 2023. Per BSA rules, youth who will be Tigers (First Graders) in the fall of 2023, must be accompanied by an Adult Partner at day camp. Rising Kindergarten students – AKA Lions – are not permitted to attend summer day camps.

Fees for Cub Scouts: $45 per Cub.  $50 per Lion Cub Pair

We are looking for adult and youth volunteers to run stations and be den walkers. A “Tot Lot” will available for non-Cub children, ages 6 and below, of the volunteer staff. If a youth volunteer is ages 11-13, they must be under the direct supervision of a parent, guardian, or troop leader. In order to volunteer near Shooting Sports, youth must be 16 or older.

Registration closes on August 7, 2023.

ALL attendees are responsible for bringing a non-perishable sack lunch, two snacks, and a labeled water bottle each day. Also bring the Cub Scout Six Essentials and a camping chair.

We are looking for youth staff to volunteer in some areas (age 14 and up) as well as adult volunteers.
