Course Overview

The virtual workshop, hosted by the Transatlantic Council, is specifically designed to help commissioners and Scouting leaders gain a deeper understanding of roundtables and their role in supporting unit service, communication, and program delivery. Offered in two identical sessions to accommodate varying schedules, the program features four advanced courses focused on strengthening roundtable planning, presentation methods, participant engagement, and the effective exchange of ideas and resources among leaders.

Participants are required to attend only one session. Completion of the workshop provides continuing education credit and supports the ongoing professional development of commissioners and Scouting leaders. The program is intended to enhance the quality, consistency, and value of roundtables across the Council while reinforcing the principles of effective leadership, collaboration, and lifelong learning within Scouting America.

Instructional Format

Each virtual session includes four structured modules, each approximately 50 minutes in duration. The curriculum emphasizes practical application, reflective dialogue, and alignment with current standards of commissioner service.
