THE 2026 NATIONAL SCOUT JAMBOREE

Every four years or so, the National Council of Scouting America organizes the ultimate Scout experience, the National Scout Jamboree! The next Jamboree is scheduled in July 2026. Over 20,000 Scouts and Scouters will be attending, and the experience of the past Jamborees will return with new themes and amazing, all-camp stadium shows!

The Gulf Coast Council is preparing to take one full troop of boys (36 youth and 4 adult leaders), and a half troop of girls (18 youth and 2 adult leaders).  All participants will be travel with the contingent to and from the Jamboree, by bus, with an expected departure date of July 17th. On the trip to the Jamboree, the contingent will tour Washington, DC and the surrounding area and attend the National Jamboree July 22-31. The morning of the 31th they will leave the Jamboree and go whitewater rafting on the 1st, and return to the Gulf Coast Council on August 2nd.

The total cost for the trip is $3600, and includes all expenses for the 2 1/2 week adventure. $350 non-refundable deposit due at registration to reserve a spot with installments due ~ every 3 months.

Jamboree is absolutely spectactular, often being the most memorable experience of a Scout's journey!
