Calling all Troop-aged Scouts! Join us for a day of Fishing Merit Badges!

Spanish Trail Scout Reservation

Cost: $15 per Scout 

Lunch is available for purchase for $5

Bring your fishing pole, bait, water bottle, chair, sunscreen, and lunch!

Scouts will have an opportunity to complete Fishing, Fly Fishing, or Fish and Wildlife Merit Badges, provided they complete all requirements.
Scouts who complete all three merit badges are encouraged to sign up to staff the Cub Scout Fishing World event on Sep 6 to be eligible for the Complete Angler Award.

Schedule:

8 AM- 8:30 AM Check in

8:30AM - 9AM First aid handouts for fishing requirements

9AM -12PM Block 1

noon- 12:30PM Lunch

12:30PM-1:30PM Fishing time

2PM- 5PM Block 2

*Fly Fishing Merit Badge is a 2 block class, the other Merit Badges will be offered during each block. Scouts can attend for full day or half day (cost is the same for full and half day). Fly Fishing has a maximum number of participants of 10 Scouts. Schedule is subject to change.
