Cub Scout Range & Target Activity Day

Location: Mullet Festival Grounds, Niceville, FL
Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
Cost: $12 per registered Cub Scout & FREE for prospective Scouts

An additional $3 late fee for registered Cub Scouts begins September 19, 2026

Get ready for an action-packed day of outdoor adventure with the Choctaw District! Cub Scouts are invited to join us for an exciting Range & Target Activity Day at the Mullet Festival Grounds in Niceville, where they'll learn range safety, build confidence, and enjoy hands-on target sports under the supervision of trained Scouting America volunteers.

Participants will have the opportunity to experience:

• Archery
• BB Gun Shooting (Lions can not shoot BB Gun)
• Slingshots

Scouts will also have the opportunity to complete their rank-appropriate Range & Target Adventure requirements while developing new skills and having fun outdoors.

Thinking about joining Cub Scouts? Youth who are not currently registered with Scouting America are invited to attend FREE as prospective Scouts! This is a great opportunity to experience Cub Scouting, meet local leaders, and discover what Scouting is all about.

Advance registration is required. Participants will select a designated time slot during registration to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Important Safety Information

Per the Scouting America Guide to Safe Scouting, Lion Scouts may not participate in BB gun shooting activities. Lions are welcome to participate in age-appropriate range activities where permitted.
