Commissioner Specific Training for Unit Commissioners

Units are the heart of Scouting and are key to providing a quality and safe program. The role of a commissioner is to build relationships and partnerships with our unit leaders to support them in their efforts to grow, provide a quality program, and to connect them with council resources.
Next year is the centennial of our council and we need new commissioners to build a strong foundation for the next century of Scouting in our community. Veteran commissioners with a font of knowledge are on-hand to train and advise new commissioners.
If you are willing to answer the call, join us at the Council Office at 617 Greenville Avenue in Staunton on Saturday, April 25th at 10:00 am for in-person commissioner specific training for unit commissioners. There is no cost for this training. For any questions, please reach out to Matt Phillipi at matt.phillippi.vahcbsa@gmail.com.
