Get ready to make history! The Virginia Headwaters Council is officially turning 100, and we are celebrating with the biggest event the Shenandoah Valley has ever seen.

We are completely taking over the park for a massive, multi-day scouting exhibition and festival footprint. This isn't just another weekend campout—it's a full-scale Jamboree syle experience right in our backyard!

What: The VAHC Centennial Camporee (#CenturyFest27)

When: May 14–16, 2027

Where: Ridgeview Park, Waynesboro, VA

What to Expect at CenturyFest:

We are blending traditional Scouting heritage with next-century excitement. Units can look forward to a massive Saturday footprint packed with high-octane program areas:

The Centennial Midway: Ditch the standard camp cooking for lunch! We are bringing in a massive fleet of 8–10 local food trucks to power the festival all day Saturday.

The Tech Pavilion: Dive into next-century skills with high-tech interactive science displays, regional university teams, high school robotics, and more!

The Music Lounge: A premium youth experience featuring live music, local bands, and a massive, Rockband arena.

The "100 for 100" Council Service Project: A massive, council-wide impact initiative where every age group—from Tiger Cubs to adults—will leave a permanent legacy of service in the community.

Jamboree-Level Trading: A dedicated, massive Patch Trading Exchange tent featuring an exclusive, highly collectible multi-piece puzzle patch set and progressive unit hiking staff totems.

Massive Surprises: We have huge, high-visibility spectacles in motion that we can't fully reveal just yet... keep your eyes on the skies!

What Units Need to Do NOW:

Official registration and the premium merchandise online trading post will open later this fall. For now, MARK YOUR UNIT CALENDARS for May 14–16, 2027.
