Miss the good ‘ole days of racing pinewood derby cars with your fellow Scouts?  REALLY wanted to help build your kids’ car for them? Or maybe you've got your old Cub Scout car collecting dust, waiting for one more chance to shine? This is the event for you!

Rev up your engines and prepare for a day of excitement! PINTwood Derby is happening on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at City Limits in San Angelo. The action kicks off with Racer Check-In starting at 2:00 p.m., followed by the races at 3:00 p.m. NO LATE ENTRIES!

This event is exclusively for those 21 and older, so gather your friends and get ready to race! Whether you're a seasoned racer with a car ready to go or you're planning to build one from scratch, join us for an afternoon filled with competitive spirit. Dust off your old pinewood car or let your inner craftsman shine—either way, it’s time to prove your derby skills and earn some serious bragging rights! Have fun and support Scouting at the same time!

Individual Racer Registration: $50

Your race entry registration includes:

• 1 kit to build your derby car (bring your receipt by the Council Office to pick up your car)
• 1 dinner & 1 drink ticket
• 1 souvenir glass
• A donation to support local Scouting programs

This event is the perfect blend of nostalgia and fun, and it's all for a good cause. Whether you're racing your own creation or bringing back your classic Cub Scout car, it's bound to be a night to remember.
