Council Shoot-O-Ree

Join us this May for the annual Council-Wide event.  For 2023, the event will be a Shoot-O-Ree and will have opportunities for Registered Scouts and Scouters of all ages!

Scouts BSA Participants

• Can register as a unit or as an individual
• Camping on Friday and Saturday nights will be offered
• Saturday meals provided
• Shooting Sports Safety briefing will be Friday night at 9:00 p.m.
  • All participants that are planning to shoot must attend the safety briefing
• Saturday will be an all-day open-shooting opportunity featuring:
  • Steel Challenge Activities (available for all ScoutsBSA)
  • Cowboy Action *New to Camp* (open to ScoutsBSA who are over the age of 14)
  • Action Archery (available for all ScoutsBSA)
  • Archery (available for all ScoutsBSA)
  • Shotgun (available for all ScoutsBSA)
  • Rifle (available for all ScoutsBSA)
  • Knives and Hawks (available for all ScoutsBSA)

Cub Scouts Participants

• Can register as individuals with adults or as Packs/Dens
• All-day, Saturday-only event
• Saturday Lunch and Dinner provided
• Shooting Sports Safety briefing will be Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m.
  • All participants that are planning to shoot must attend the safety briefing
• Saturday will be an all-day open-shooting opportunity featuring:
  • Catapults
  • Soda Bottle Rockets
    • Cubs should bring their own clean 2-Liter Bottle.
  • BBs
  • Archery
  • Wrist rockets
