You are invited to join us for the Rainbow Council's Ten Commandments Hike!

The 10 Commandments Hike is an approximate 4-mile interfaith walk-through downtown Kankakee.  We start at St. Patrick’s Church, 428 S. Indiana Ave. The Ten Commandments hike will be an opportunity to introduce youth and adults to a variety of faiths and houses of worship, while learning how the Ten Commandments play an important part in their lives and serve as a foundation in living their faith. The hike is intended to be an interfaith and cross-cultural event, with scouts gaining a greater understanding of the faiths in the area.

Scouts can complete rank-based requirements: Cub Scouts – Duty to God Adventures; Scouts BSA – Scout BSA Requirements related to Scout Spirit, Personal Fitness merit badge, Eagle Rank Venturing – Trust Award, Rank Adventures of Faith

Time: Check In 8:30 AM / Event 9 Am – 2 PM

Location: Kankakee, starts at St. Patrick’s Church 428 S. Indiana Ave

Price: $10 for scouts, leaders and all wanting patch. $5 all others – Includes fees and water. $35 cap for families over 3.
