It's Pinewood Derby Time!!!!

Rainbow Council is having a Council wide Pinewood Derby!

Date:  March 8th, 2025

Where: Louis Joliet Mall (3340 Mall Loop Dr., Joliet, IL. Enter by Entrance 4)

Time: 2 pm until 5pm

Fee:  FREE!!!!

Community members and scouts along with the scout's family will be allowed to participate. We will have one track for the community and families and one track for the scouts. 

Scouts should bring their own car.  We will have a few cars that can be borrowed for families or community members to share. 

There will be a trophy for fastest scout, fastest family member and fastest community member. There will also be trophies for best design for a scout, best design for family member and best design for community member. 

If your unit is interested in having a membership table, please register to have one available for your unit.

Must be present for the duration of the event to be eligible for the trophies. If you cannot be there for the entire event, please contact Rachel Mirman at Rachel.mirman@scouting.org.
