Every Cub Scout deserves a trained leader -- sometimes that leader is an adult, sometimes is is a trained Scout BSA or Venture Scout in the leadership position of a Den Chief, who wishes to assist a Tiger Cub, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos den. A Den Chief is someone the younger Scouts look up to and view as role models. Den Chief training focuses on how to assist the den leader with planning and conducting the meetings, how to build an age appropriate repertoire of activities for the Cubs, and learning to be confident with the youth in carrying out specific duties while having fun.

What: Den Chief Training

When: October 17th, 2020

Time: 8 AM to 12 PM

Where: Rainbow Scout Reservation, 2600 N Winterbottom Road, Morris, Il

For Who: Registered Scouts BSA and Venture Scouts wishing to become mentors for various dens in a Cub Scout Pack

Cost: $20 (includes book and supplies for the day) until September 26th, 2020
          $30 after September 26th, 2020

Please note -- the class size is limited to 20
Registration Fee includes Den Chief Handbook.
