Fall Cosmic Shoot

Calling all Scouts, Scouters and their families. Come out to RSR on October 17th for our  Fall Cosmic Shoot. The event will start at 6:00 pm with registration. Safety briefing will be held at 6:30 pm. Food will be available starting at 6:30 pm. We will have bratwurst or hamburgers, chips, cookies and a drink available. Shooting will start at dusk and conclude at 9:30pm. In addition to the food and shooting there will be a campfire with Smores and hot chocolate.

Where: Rainbow Scout Reservation

Time: 6:00 pm - 9 pm

Cost: $50 per shooter (up to 25 rounds) for shotgun (includes archery, food and campfire)

$35 per shooter for archery (includes archery, food and campfire). Archery may be shot by everyone 6 years old and up. Everyone under 11 years old must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times on the ranges).

$20 for food and campfire

Come on out and experience shooting at RSR in the dark!

We have a limit of 20 shooters for shotgun.

We will have bratwurst or hamburgers, chips, cookies and a drink along with a campfire, S'mores and hot chocolate for everyone. 

All Scouts, Scouters and immediate family can participate. All shotgun shooters must be a minimum of 11 years old and of a physical stature to safely hold and fire a shotgun (final safety determination will be made by the Range Safety Officer).

10:00 pm event ends

This event is limited to a maximum of 20 shotgun shooters.

All Scouting America Range and Target Activities rules and Rainbow Councils Range and Target Activities procedure will be followed. No personal firearms are allowed.
