TWO WEEKEND FORMAT - MUST ATTEND BOTH WEEKENDS

When:  April 5, 2024 - April 7, 2024   &  April 12, 2024 - April 14, 2024  (must attend  both weekends)

Where: Rainbow Scout Reservation, 2600 Winterbottom Road, Morris, IL

Who can attend: Youth.  Scouts BSA (13-18), Venturers (14-20), Sea Scouts (14-20), Explorers (14-17).

Minimum number needed is 30 participants to run the course.

Capacity is limited to 42 Scouts at this event.   

Registration closes on March 15th 2024, at 5:00 PM.

Cost:    Registration: $250 (Ends March 1st, 2024)

          Late Registration: $290  (March 2nd - March 15th)

NYLT is an exciting action-packed program designed for councils to provide youth members with Leadership skills and experiences that they can use in their home Units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others. Throughout the two weekends Scouts learn skills including problem solving, communication, and how to find a vision for future success. The course is run by the youth staff with the adults taking on an advisory role. Course is designed to simulate a full month in a unit. 

Participant requirements:
This scout will be 13 years of age by April 5th, 2024 or will have completed the 8th grade (no exceptions), will be at least First Class rank (or equivalent), and will have had long term camping experience.

Scouts will need to attend both weekends.  On Friday, they can arrive as early as 4p, but must be checked in by 5pm.  Pick up will be on Sunday, around 5pm.
