Every Cub Scout deserves a trained leader -- sometimes that leader is an adult, sometimes is is a trained Boy Scout, Venture Scout or Varsity Scout in the leadership position of a Den Chied, who wishes to assist a Tiger Cub, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos den. A Den Chief is someone the younger boys look up to and view as role models. Den Chief training focuses on how to assist the den leader with planning and conducting the meetings, how to build an age appropriate repertoire of activities for the Cubs, and learning to be confident with the boys in carrying out specific duties while having fun.

What: Den Chief Training

When: October 13th 2017

Time: 8am to 1pm

Where: RSR Dining Hall

For Who: Registered Boy Scouts and Venture Scouts wishing to become mentors for various dens in a Cub Scout Pack

Cost: $20 (includes book and supplies for the day)

Please note -- the class size is limited to 20
