Calling all Webelos, AOL (Arrow of Light), and Boy Scouts!

Come in the morning and camp overnight on Sept 23 at RSR (Rainbow Scout Reservation). It is the Arrow of Light camp out and what a great way for boy scouts to show the Webelos/AOL what boy scouts is all about using the patrol method. Webelos/AOL work towards their rank with help from the boy scouts as well as cooking, campfire, and games.

$35 Webelos and AOL      $15 adults     Boy scouts are free

Parents - some of us have been the parent of a Webelos crossing over into boy scouts and all of us have been new to boy scouts. At some point, most of us wished we would have had an opportunity to start asking questions and gathering information sooner about boy scouts. This program provides an opportunity for you to do that plus earn over 50% of your cub scouts rank. Scoutmasters, adults, and boy scouts will be on hand to help start your transition into boy scouts. Words cannot convey what the program does to help mentor these scouts through the next few years. Come hear the experiences and see what the journey can be for your scout!

Webelos and AOL - you can earn more than 50% of your rank, have fun at games and campfire, plus come learn what boy scouts is all about.

Boy Scouts and Scoutmasters - use this as a recruiting opportunity. Reach out and invite your local packs. Print out the flyer and invite a potential boy scout for the day or come and camp for the night. Bring your awesome boy scout enthusiasm and help the Webelos/AOL earn their rank, teach them about boy scouts (cooking, use patrol method, earning rank, campfire, etc.) and answer their questions. Being familiar with a troop and adult members makes for an easy transition. Help is needed with check-in, dining hall, campfire, games, and helping Webelos/AOL earn their rank.

Packs - sign up your Webelos and AOL. Please reach out to your troops and ask them for a patrol to be sent so that your scouts can be ready to cross over and be in boy scout troop. Being familiar with a troop and the scout/adult members will help the transition into boy scouts.

Program starts early Saturday morning with check-in 7am, breakfast, 8:45am flag ceremony, followed by rank earning requirements and games throughout the day.

Rain or shine, program will happen so be prepared!

Program information guide and schedule will be sent out via email before Sept. 9th.

Please see attached flyer.

**You may camp early on Friday, Sept. 22nd, but no food or program provided.**
