Come spend some time at camp filled with Fellowship and an opportunity to sharpen your scouting skills. This class covers all the information needed to plan and execute a pack overnight. Learn about basic skills, proper planning, scheduling, program suggestions, camp cooking with different types of equipment, and lots more! Speak with fellow scouters and get ideas for future outings, ask questions, and share your experiences with others. Don't forget.... every pack needs a BALOO trained leader. One is good but TWO is even better!

When: Spring Session April 22th - 23rd, 2023

Includes: Camping fee, insurance, meals, Saturday night Cracker Barrel, and program materials.

The training will take place at Rainbow Council Scout Reservation, 2600 N. Winterbottom Road, Morris, IL.

The session start at 8:00 AM on Saturday morning and ending by 12:00 PM on Sunday afternoon

Class size : Minimum of 6  / Maximum of 32

Please note, you must complete an online portion prior to the weekend.  You can find the course by following these steps.

1. Log into my.scouting.org
2. Navigate to My Training.
3. Under Training by Program - Pick Cub Scouts
4. At the top of the new window (https://training.scouting.org/programs/1)  click on Catalog
5. Below the header graphic, search for "Baloo"
6. The course should be displayed and you can enroll.
