PINEWOOD DERBY IS Postponed!!!

Due to lack of registration, we are holding off on Pinewood Derby until Spring of 2024 looking for a time that fits into spring breaks and Easter holidays. Please continue to check the calendar for regular program updates.

Rainbow Council Pinewood Derby 2023

Scouts, siblings and families are invited to participate in Rainbow Council’s Pinewood Derby tournament. Participants should bring official BSA derby cars ready to race and check in. After check-in participants can watch their car race against other Rainbow Council Scouts, siblings and families. Participants will race in their current rank heat. Siblings and other family members will race in the open class race. Awards will be given out after each heat. The fastest car from each heat will move on to the championship race.

Event Date and Time: Saturday, April 29th, 2023 9am - 2pm

Pre-Registration Closes: April 28th, 2023 (Then door price applies)

When: April 29th, 2023

Time: Check-in: 9 am - 9:45 am

Opening Flags: 9:45 am - 10 am

Racing:    10 am - 2 pm

Who: Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos I, Webelos II (AOL), Scouts BSA, Venture Crew, "Open Class" race, & Outlaw Races are open to all ages from siblings to grandparents and friends of scouting (see rules for details).

• Race Themed Photo Opportunities will be available
• Summer Camp and Day Camp Craft Table will have information about this summer’s camp programs.
• A schedule of upcoming Rainbow Council Scouting Activities will be available for reference to friends and families
