2025 Oregon Trail District Merit Badge Fair

Registration now open.

The Oregon Trail District hosts this Merit Badge Fair in an effort to help all the Scouts in the area. For many this is a time a Scout can work on and complete merit badges that they would not be able to complete otherwise.

Please make sure only Scouts sign up for courses. You should only sign up for courses that you fully plan on preparing for and attending.

• You will receive an email that acknowledges registration.
• Scouts should record their registrations and class times at the time of registration so they don't forget.
• If a Scout makes a mistake when registering, the Scout may email Jonathan Arnold, District Executive, to cancel a merit badge class.
• Scouts should follow two-deep leadership in all communications by cc’ing a parent or other Scout leader in any emails.

The Silver bordered Eagle required merit badges are intended for Second Class Scouts and above, unless the counselor has specified First Class and above.

• Qualified Scouts are limited to registering for not more than two silver bordered Eagle required merit badges at the Fair.
• New and Tenderfoot Scouts should sign up for the elective merit badges only.

The prepared Scout will arrive for class on time, in Scout uniform, with a Scoutmaster-signed blue card and posted pre-work completed and brought to the fair.

Don't forget to register for the 115th Scout Anniversary Lunch, Cost $3. Paid onsite.
Scouts may also bring their own sack lunch.
