Chainsaw Safety Training Course at Camp Baker

Date: Oct. 10th and 11th 2026

Times: Saturday 8:30am to 5:00pm Classroom Training 

            Sunday 8:00am to 12:00pm Field Training in camp

Meals provided:  Saturday  breakfast, lunch, and dinner;

Sunday breakfast

Meals provided by Troop 28. 

Cost:  $50 for food and supplies. 

Course limited to 12 participants

Must be 21 years of age or older 

No prior experience necessary 

If you have your own saw and safety gear, please bring it.  If not, we have saws and sets of safety gear available.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive a certificate of training valid for 5 years.

It is okto stay at camp on Friday night, Oct. 9th, and/or Saturday night, Oct. 10th, at no charge.  Please make arrangements directly with the Rangers at 541-997-3526
